Sharlotte “Pris” Pickron
WEWAHITCHKA, FL – Sharlotte “Pris” Pickron, 66, of Wewahitchka passed away Friday, Sept. 29, 2023.
Born Jan. 29, 1957 in Gulf County to Edgar and Vera Mae Causey, Pris was a homemaker and a member of the Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching the sunrise from her porch, taking care of her flowers, and truly loved her grandchildren.
Pris was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Causey, Vera Mae and Johnny “Gene” Armstrong, Sr., husband, Jimmer Lee Pickron, Jr., brother, Edison “Tiger” Causey, sister, Della Mae Dickens.
She is survived by her daughters, JoAnna Palmer and Maylon of Wewahitchka, Tracy Derreberry and Jonathon of Black Mountain, NC, Cindy Pickron and Anthony of Wewahitchka, Diana Shields of Asheville, NC; brothers, Eugene Armstrong and Polly of Marianna, William Armstrong of Wewahitchka, Tommy Armstrong of Blountstown, Edward Causey of Wewahitchka, Edgar Causey of Wewahitchka and a sister, Martha Ann Wages of Wewahitchka, along with 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 4 with Rev. Eugene Armstrong and Rev. Polly Armstrong officiating. Interment followed at Buckhorn Cemetery in Wewahitchka.
All arrangements were under the direction of Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
