Elbert Williams
HOSFORD, FL – William Elbert Williams, 95 of Hosford, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in Blountstown. Elbert was born in Quincy to the late Horace and Hattie Mae Williams. He was a logger and an avid outdoorsman.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Allie B. Williams; his son, Bobby Ray Williams; a daughter, Hattie Inez Williams; a sister, Thelma Chason; a half-brother, Louis Williams; half-sisters, Marty Watts and Lillie Bell Moore and a great-grandson, Hunter.
Survivors include his daughter, Gwinell Wilson (David); his grandchildren, David Wilson Jr. (April), Brenda Standish (Paul), Gwin Shiver (Leonard) and 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services to honor Elbert’s life will be held at 11 a.m. ET on March 16 at Telogia Assembly of God Church with Stuart Dame officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Saturday.
