Jerry Benjamin Hosey

BRISTOL, FL – Jerry Benjamin Hosey, age 59, of Bristol passed away on May 17, 2024. He was born Sept. 22, 1964, to Albert and Loura Hosey in Quincy.

He lived in the area most of his life and worked as a carpenter.

Jerry enjoyed fishing, the beach, playing the guitar and singing, gardening, and carpentry. He could always be found outside building something or working in his garden.

He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Hosey and brother, Jimmy Hosey.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Loura Hosey; son, Jerry B. Hosey II of Tallahassee; daughters, Heather Hosey and Dakota Boone of Bristol, Megan Paquette and John of Tallahassee; brothers, Jackie Hosey and Earlyne of Morven, James Hosey of Quincy, Jody Hosey and Brooks of Tallahassee; sisters, Janice Branson and Darold of Tallahassee, Judy Knerr and Rick of Tallahassee, June Moore and Taylor of Quincy; grandchildren, Summer, Sarah, Skylar, Sianna, Brantley, Autumn,  Oaklynn, Noah, and Nadeline.

A visitation was held Thursday May 23 at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel.  Graveside services followed at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

All arrangements were under the direction of Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
