BLOUNTSTOWN, FL – Austin Dewayne Forte, 26, of Blountstown, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024 in Gainesville. Austin was born January 5, 1998, in Tallahassee to Anthony Forte and Joni Bodiford.
Austin was diagnosed as a child with a heart disease that would limit him through his life but fought through and was blessed with 26 years. He loved watching and cheering on Oregan football and doing all things outdoors. He especially enjoyed fishing with his uncle Roscoe, playing video games with his son Calvin and spending time with his niece and nephew, Kinsley and Bryson. He was always making sure his family was happy and together and had a never-ending love for his childhood sweetheart Jamie.
He leaves behind his fiancé, Jamie White; his children, Calvin and Heather Forte; his brother, Peyton Bodiford; his sister, Katelyn Partin and her husband Dakota; his grandparents, Billy and Mary Lou Bodiford, Macy Cannon and Terry Armstrong; his mother-in-law, Laura White and a special aunt that was always close, Stephanie Hollie and her husband Roscoe as well as other aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members.
Services to honor Austin will be held at 3 p.m. ET Friday, July 19, 2024 at Telogia Assembly of God with Pastor Stuard Dane officiating. The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 2 p.m. ET at the church.
