Altha fireworks

ALTHA, FL – The skies above Altha were filled with sparks, flashes and flames as the small community held a big celebration for the Fourth of July.  This year’s event was held a day later, on July 5, as families gathered at the rec park along Bodiford  Road.

Folks came early to enjoy a little music and a lot of good food from vendors offering sweet snacks and hot meals, including pulled pork sandwiches.  Youngsters cooled off on two bouncy house water slides, where they had plenty of room to run and play.

The evening ended with a kaleidoscope of fireworks that filled the air with color.
