Treva Castleberry
ALTHA, FL – Treva Castleberry, age 77, of Altha passed away Sunday morning, March 24, 2024, at home.
Treva was born in Arkansas City, KS on June 18, 1946, to Andrew and Cecile Henning. Â She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson and Calhoun County.
Treva was a member of Word of Truth church for 35 years. She served in various ministries including Sunday school teacher, interpreter for hearing impaired, church secretary and most importantly a prayer warrior. She considered all of her church family to be her family and they were a BIG part of her life. She said, “The Lord called me to love you all.”
Survivors include daughter, Gail Cox (fiancé, Drew); sons, Danny Sutton, (wife, Lisa), David Sutton, (wife, Nora); and adopted children, Gene and Vickie Moses. Grandchildren include Bradley Sutton (Andrea), Bethany Mars (Robert), Leland Bowman (Caprice), Amber Mason (Michael), Caleb Bowman (Alissa), Great grandchildren include Taylor, Justin, Ambrea, Selena, Allison, Alexis, Ethan, Austin, Katherine, Abraham and a host of nieces and nephews, along with her sister, Andrea Kaye Revell (Roland) and brother Tom Henning.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 27 at 4 p.m. CT. Family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. at Word of Truth church in Blountstown with Pastor Bill Wells and Pastor Danny Sutton officiating.
All arrangements are under the direction of Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
